Crematoriums have chapels available for a funeral service. There are a number of different chapels across Sydney that are available for families to create the type of service that suites them. We can arrange for a chapel for a time that suites family and friends.
The cremation chapels usually have all the necessary facilities for a funeral service including audio visual equipment, parking and function rooms. We can arrange for a clergy or celebrant for the service and we will have staff to assist you with any music or photo presentations.
There are a number of different ways that a cremation
Direct to the Crematorium Chapel
A Direct Cremation is when the coffin is taken directly to the crematorium chapel for the service. A chapel time is booked for a time that suites family and friends and you meet at the crematorium.
Church then to the Crematorium
If you are having a service at a Church the coffin is brought to the Church in the hearse and our staff are there to assist. At the end of the service family and friends follow the hearse to the crematorium where a committal service is held in the crematorium chapel.
Alternatively, at the end of the church service the hearse leaves and only the immediate family go to the crematorium chapel for a private service.
Church with no attendance at the Crematorium
A service can be held at its entirety at the Church, there is no need for anyone to attend the crematorium. The coffin is brought to the Church and our staff are there to assist. At the end of the service the hearse leaves the church and our staff take the coffin to the crematorium. Family and friends are able to remain together for a function after the service at the church or function room.
Your Choice of Location
There are a number of beautiful locations that a funeral can be held; a family home, a reception venue, sporting club, park or community hall. We are able to arrange a service at a place that is significant to you and your family.
A memorial service is when there is a service without the coffin present.
Some people prefer a private funeral service with only family and close friends allowing them a chance to grieve in private. This can be followed by a more public memorial service open to every to attend.
Another option is for the cremation to take place with no service or no attendance, our staff look after all the necessary arrangements for the cremation. A separate memorial service can be arranged at a later date.
We are also able to arrange direct committal, this where all the necessary paperwork is arranged with the next of kin and all the cremation takes place with no service or attendance at the crematorium. A separate memorial service can be arranged.
